This page is a sample of my work at playSTUDIOS, a casual casino game company. My roles have evolved through the years, from senior designer to art director and eventually to creative director at the loyalty division (playAWARDS and myVIP.) This section illustrates the vast amount of work created to serve our digital marketing needs, including CRM, in-app messaging and blockers, social media, on site-marketing, and more. I work with brands like TetrisĀ®, MGM Resorts International, Apple, Legoland, Norwegian Cruises, Royal Caribean, and many others. I also work closely with our product teams, our apps and our buisness developement teams to ensure the visual identity is alligned with the branding strategy set by the executive team.
Engaging projects often revolve around on-site marketing, particularly through large format printing for creating murals and wraps in diverse locations. One memorable endeavor involved a brand take-over at the Las Vegas Aviators' stadium. PLAYSTUDIOS, a sponsor of the minor league baseball team LV AVIATORS in Las Vegas, Nevada, entrusted me with designing their branding immersion shortly after the ballpark's opening in April 2019. Below are some glimpses of how we seamlessly integrated our corporate branding and gaming elements into the elegant VIP lounge at the stadium. However, just as the branding was finalized, the onset of COVID-19 led to the ballpark's closure for an entire year. It wasn't until 2021 that it finally reopened its doors to the public.
Drawing inspiration from iconic vintage baseball photographs and incorporating elements of our game characters, I crafted some vintage newsprint-style murals. This DiMaggio inspired image is undoubtedly the highlight of the project for me!
As part of the activation event for the Ballpark's reopening in 2021, we launched a campaign to welcome VIPs to the lounge. I personally painted and customized 120 bats to be given away during the beginning of the baseball season. Despite the effort involved, I'm thrilled with the final outcome.
Other on-site marketing projects include wrapping the monorail train in Las Vegas, a VIP room at the Las Vegas Raider's field, playSTUDIOS events, and other signs created for various casinos.
This next section features a collection of miscellaneous images, some of which are one-offs or projects that were ultimately canceled. Despite their varied origins, I still value the final products and felt compelled to include them here.
